Denmark 05/03/2010 Danish children in debate about privacy online This year The Media Council for Children and Young People celebrated Safer Internet Day by focussing on children’s own experiences with life online in order to boost their stories and amplify their voices to the surroundings. On Safer Internet Day the French awareness centre successfully launched two serious games in order to inform in a fun way about the risks of the Internet. Since this launch, more than 40,000 young people have been playing. Both of the games invite the players to manage a fake online identity and through this experience teach them how to use safely social networking sites.
